I just read what you said about me on B-A. You have both been acting like bitches for the past few days, but that just tops it. I am washing my hands of you. So that's a no from me.

i am acting towards you the same way i would act towards anyone, including those i love. if you're acting like a retard, i'm gonna tell you. i'm not going to kiss your ass just so you're not mad at me, just like everyone else in the world. yes you had a point at the beginning but it's so overdone now it's just annoying. sorry but thats the truth.

i didn't notice anyone from here being bitchy to elbow, but to be honest i've had to skim a lot of posts the last couple days.

piece is correct. In a group context, which is implied, every individual has a "piece" of the whole discussion. So, to "speak one's piece" is simply to speak that portion of the discussion which is theirs alone.

In the old west, the phrase "I've said my peace" would, however, be used to imply that there was something on the person's conscience that needed to be said. Having said it gave that person "peace", for not having withheld something needful, in order to shed helpful light on a subject, e.g., another's guilt or innocence.

To "keep the peace", or to "hold one's peace" implies quiet, or silence.

To give one a "piece of one's mind" is similar in meaning to "speaking one's piece", except in this case, the "piece" is a piece of the individual's mind, not a piece of the group discussion.

To any who might be inclined to differ with my interpretation, I would say,,,"You want a piece of me? You want a piece of me??!"

I actually thought azucena was kidding. I would say piece, but I didn't know it was so complicated lol I would say piece because I see it as a piece of something (part), peace for me = a state of calm/harmony.

I wish you were discussing the language matters more often like that Sad
